Building a School

The Roses in Concrete Community School in East Oakland resembles a model of education that no longer requires urban youth and families to escape their communities in order to live, learn, work, and thrive.

PROJECT
To support this new community school and its vision, I helped produce two websites before the school doors opened in 2015. First, they needed a landing page website to accept donations, school enrollment, have educators apply for faculty positions, and to launch their mission video. Second, the new community school website needed to be fully functional and live for the first day of school. The school website had a more complex site map and required more functionalities.
