Rise & Create Vendor Village

TBD Fest (The Bridge District Festival) was a 3-day summer festival of music, art, food and brands. They also hosted a New Year’s Eve block party.

Role: Vendor Management

I partnered with Leah Haines, under the Rise & Create Village Manager, Justin Bilbao, to manage all of the vendors before and during the festival. Each vendor was housed in individual wooden booths in a section of the festival called “Rise & Create Vendor Village,” which was a designated area that showcased brands, boutiques, and food vendors.

  • Organized and led vendor meetings and building schedules.
  • Handled budgets, programs, promotional marketing decks.
  • Owned program goal setting and planning through execution.
  • Managed vendor build outs, requests, and relationships.

Role: Runway Talent

My first encounter with TBDfest was working on the TourdeForce x TBD Fashion Activation in the 2014 Rise & Create Vendor Village. This was an event that showcased local brands and boutiques like Gold & Thread, Rire, Heart Boutique, Official Brand, and many more. Along with an incredible team of talents and event producer, Sammy Jo Alonso, we created a fun fashion show in between musical acts.
